- Responsibilities

- Write internal APIs that will be consumed by the app layer

You must know when to denormalize your data, when to store it using the blackhole storage engine, whether to use SQL or NoSQL, and when to use flat files. You will work on an elite team of database gurus, alongside systems administrators and operations engineers.

Network Engineer

- Manage physical and logical configuration of all network devices including: switches, load balancers, and routers
- Work closely with all functional groups to maintain and build Digg's infrastructure
- Monitor network statistics to proactively stay ahead of the growth curve
- Qualifications
