Awami League Central Working Committee sat at the party president's political office in Dhanmondi on Saturday.
The meeting began at about 11:00am with AL President Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
The meeting is expected to discuss some important issues of the party, including the ways to select candidates for municipality and union parishad elections.
